The Diploma project explores Nottingham City changes, experienced due to its economic growths and declines in the last decades, and how this affects and changes its buildings typology. The aim of this project is to diminish the emptiness of some historical buildings and to Re-Imagine an appealing proposal that will bring them back to life.

No. 6 Victoria Street is a Grade II listed building, considering this, no permanent changes can be made to the interior or exterior existing elements of the building. The internal proposal has been carefully designed not create too much damage to the original flooring, and the ceiling has been left untouched to maintain the original splendour of the space.

This Art Gallery was designed to work together with the diverse pieces on display, becoming an artwork itself. The project makes use of the existing big window openings to bring natural light into the spaces, creating different atmospheres and play between spaces.
